With Jackal we made proggressive metal. I joint the band because I very much liked the twin guitar use of John and Terry. We wrote some awsome songs togheter played a bit live. Recorded a demo with paul van rijswijk as engeneer and producer. We had a lot of fun during those recordings wich i still think you can hear on the demo. We had One gig during our national Queensday in Amsterdam. That was in the middel of the street on a big stage in the hart of the Jordaan.we had one instrumental in the play list so i decided to entertain the crowd by climbing into light poles so the band unaware of my daredevil stunts were wandering why tha crowed were not looking at them but into the air. Sadly Rick the drummer had to quit the band and Terry stapt behind the kitt for a while till we would find a replacement. But we never did found one so the guys trew in the blancket. Years later john and Rick blew new life in Jackal and they are busy still. They have got the old cd with a coulple of the songs from the demo i did recorded with on it as a bonus. And i regulary joint them on stage to sing one or two song along.Fun time check them out.
